The company is a joint venture of DF Barnes and the JV Driver Group, of Edmonton Alberta. JV Driver is a well-recognized construction and contract services provider in Western Canada and around the world and has executed major industrial projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, forestry and mining sectors. JV Driver’s proficiency and experience in delivering large-scale projects, combined with DF Barnes’ expertise and local market knowledge, creates a construction and contracting “powerhouse” for servicing energy extraction and resource development clients on Canada’s East Coast.
In addition to the facilities of DF Barnes’ other divisions, DF Barnes Industrial has a 50,000 ft2 facility adjacent to an ice‐free port with deepwater access. In addition, DF Barnes Industrial also has 50,000 ft2 of specialized pipe manufacturing space in Alberta. With these strategic locations, modules can be trucked or barged to local, national and international destinations.
